The Cup Lites Racing Series longest and biggest event of the year

The Bob Bender Memorial

will take place at one of NASCAR’s premiere short track

Holland International Speedway

on Saturday, August 21^st 2004.

The Cup Lites portion of the program consisted of: 10 lap heat races, an autograph session, a 100-lap feature race, and will run along with other Holland’s NASCAR Weekly Series events.

This special Cup Lites Touring Series race event will be taped and be

Televised on the EMPIRE Sports Network Four Times on:

Friday September 3^rd at 8:00pm,

Saturday September 4^th at 11:00pm,

Sunday September 5^th at 5:00pm,

Wednesday September 8^th at 9:00pm.

Holland Speedway Pit Gates open at 3:00pm, Main Gates at 4:00pm,

with practice starting at 3:30pm and racing to begin at 5:30pm.

The Bob Bender Memorial Race was founded in 1998 to commemorate Bob Bender, the brother of Tim Bender the Cup Lites founder. Everyone who wishes to participate may sponsor one or more laps at $20.00 per lap. All proceeds go towards the race purse, activities for the day, additional prizes and a donation to the Bob Bender Scholarship Fund. Lap sponsors’ names are announced during the course of the evening and will be made part of our written program. The Bender Family will be very active throughout making various charitable awards and trophy presentations to the winning teams and drivers. If you are anywhere in the Western New York area on this weekend, this event is a must see! Please join the fun and help a worthwhile cause, as well!!!!!
