The Bob Bender Memorial Scholarship Award

Bob Bender was a former Holland Speedway Late Model competitor, a Western New York business owner, and Graduate of the Potter Road BOCES vocational program, who tragically lost his life in a construction accident. The Bob Bender Memorial Scholarship Award is given in honor of Bob’s memory each year to a deserving Western New York BOCES vocational student who in the course of his vocational education demonstrates outstanding leadership and mechanical skills.

Bob’s wife Missy Bender, his children Cassie and Brandon and the entire Bender family are proud to present the 2003 Bob Bender Memorial Scholarship Award to Myles Turnball. Myles is presently a senior at Kenmore East High School and studies welding at the Potter Road BOCES. He plans to continue his studies at Alfred State College, when he graduates. On behalf of the entire Cup Lites Family … Congratulations Myles!
