While NASCAR drivers were absent
due to prior commitments during Wednesday's Racing Fan Fair on Broad Street
in Waverly Wednesday, three-year-old Jonathon Vough, above, of Athens could
not have cared less as he sat behind the steering wheel of a U.S. Army
National Guard heavy utility vehicle displayed by the 204th Engineering
Battalion of Horseheads. Edward J. Czuprynski Jr.,
below, of Lancaster, N.Y., crew chief for his son, driver Michael E.
Czuprynski, uses a motorized scooter as he browses along Broad Street
Thursday. He said he uses the scooter to get around at race tracks because of
the distances involved. The Racing Fan Fair was held in connection
with the Nextel NASCAR event at Watkins Glen this weekend, and featured
primarily racing car displays, vendors, a puppet show and a clown... Photos
